CrossFit Seminar Review
On the 10th and 11th of November the first ever Australian CrossFit seminar was held at Olympic park in Sydney.
The seminar kicked off with a few hours of theory on Saturday afternoon and a quick blast of Tabata squats to introduce seminar participants to the CrossFit method but really Saturday was the entrée to Sunday’s main course.
Starting early on Sunday morning the seminar got into full swing with 23 participants and 5 instructors getting down and dirty with the fundamentals of barbell training, rowing, medicine balls, Olympic lifting and kettlebells.
Everyone was split into 4 groups and cycled through five areas over the course of the day, Olympic lifting with Don, Kettlebells with Andrew, barbell and dumbbell training with Matt and rowing, medicine balls and programming with Fiona and then the group gymnastics session. |
